Editorial Standards
This page explains how The Pivot Lab writes, sources and corrects the free guides on pivotlab.shop. It applies to every article in our Guides section.
Who writes the guides
Guides are published under the byline "The Pivot Lab Editorial Team". That name stands for The Pivot Lab as a publisher, not for one named author. We do not attach invented names, photos or credentials to our guides.
AI tools help with research and first drafts. Every guide is then checked against the sources below before it is published.
Where the content comes from
- From Corporate to Cash. Most guides apply frameworks from our playbook, such as the Niche Selection Matrix, the Three-Tier Offer Stack and the Warm 50. When a guide quotes the book or uses its price ranges, it says so.
- Named public sources. Any figure that does not come from the book names its source and links to it, so you can check it yourself.
- Illustrative examples. Worked examples and composite stories are labelled as illustrative. They show how a framework works. They are not reports about real clients.
How numbers are checked
- Every rate, price band or statistic must trace back to the book or to a named, linked source. If we cannot source a number, we leave it out.
- Ranges are presented as ranges, not promises. Results depend on the person, their market and their effort. The Pivot Lab does not promise income.
- Guides that touch contracts, tax or employment terms are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Check your own situation with a qualified professional.
Updates and corrections
We update guides when a source changes or when we find an error. If you spot something that is wrong or out of date, email support@pivotlab.shop with the page address and what needs fixing. We review every report and correct confirmed errors.
Products and independence
The Pivot Lab sells the From Corporate to Cash playbook and related toolkits, and our guides link to them where they are relevant. We do not accept payment from other companies to appear in our guides.
